The “Pilatusplatz” in Luzern is the interface between the transit axis and the main inner-city street. The project strengthens the special location and consists of two buildings. A building with offices that takes over the existing urban structure along the main street, in the courtyard an organic structure with apartments.

 

The ground floor is permeable to the rear courtyard. The glazing on the transparent ground floor is retracted at an angle and allows a view of the gastronomic area of the basement.

 

The building facade is structured with a double grid with cantilevers and recesses, which form loggias, integrating nature forming green fields.
